08 April 2025 – ClassNK has granted its Innovation Endorsement for Products & Solutions to the confined space drone with ultrasonic thickness measurement attachment ‘Elios 3 UT Payload’ developed by Flyability.

Elios 3 UT Payload - Product descriptions:
1. The Elios 3 can accommodate the UT Payload in parallel with the LiDAR payload.
2. A remotely operated couplant dispenser with the UT probe is dispensed for ultrasound transmission into the material.
3. The UT payload can be mount in any position on Elios 3 to perform thickness measurement in various locations.
4. The UT payload features a set of probe hoods and interchangeable probes.
5. The probe head can be replaced with cleaning module to remove deposits.
6. Elios 3 UT payload using Live A-Scan, an amplitude scans, work in one dimension which only measure the thickness of the spot being measured.
